CHURCH History

The humble beginnings of CEMI of Las Vegas, Inc. started in the summer of 1997 in the house of Al and Mila Samson, the resident pastor. Three families started to attend the fellowship, namely: The Canlapans, the Cloreses, and the Mosquedas.

In September of the same year, the Senior Pastor, Reverend Jesse Candelaria, from Jacksonville, Florida, came and formally conducted to elect the Officers and Board Members of the church.

From October to December 1997, the Trinity Life Center (TLC) was used by the Lord. We have used their high school library for our Sunday services through the help of Brother Ed Mosqueda. The Lord continued to send another batch of families to the church: the Beltrans, the Aquinos, the Oriases, and the Manios.

Anointed teachers of the Word of God had given talent to the ministry. The Lord assigned the Praise and Worship groups through Brother Victor Santos and his family. From there, the Lord continued to form groups of ministries like the International Bible Institute (IBI), Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) which is now known as Cross Encounter Youth Fellowship (CEYF), Home Care Ministry, Hospital Visitation, Brothers Keeper (BK), Prayer Meetings, and Home Bible Studies.

Up to now, the Lord continuously sends faithful members to His church to glorify and magnify His holy name. This church, through the direction of Jesus Christ, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, in accordance with all the commandments and provisions in the Holy Bible, the irrevocable Word of God, continues to grow with the blessings, care, and guidance of the Almighty God.
